won't it be marvy when the chick focus is contagious?
yes its true after the shingding at the tranzac i decided i must learn how to play my favourite anti-war song, billy don't be a hero. but i tole you, i lost my cheat sheet!!! transcribed for me by a celebrity even, the other celebrity reminded me... ACK.

i bought the cd set today, and, even without any sort of discount, it was well worth it.

5th Annual Orangeville Blues and Jazz Festival

june 1-3, 2007

its true Mo Kauffey played at Taco Time on Saturday evening.

and, Jack de Keyzer put on a great show at the main stage that afternoon. i remembered the days when i would walk around the corner from my apartment every tuesday to catch his free show at the hotel isabella.

justin armstrong, the houseplants and grand fir were a delight in the parking lot at acoustic traditions. ALOT of great songs, with great sounds, with a pretty twinkle light backdrop and a nice white tent, and a friendly fun-loving crowd. all for charity even.

my favourite moments were the houseplant verses you don't hear on the album version of the song trying to piece it together. that song is too freakin' sad to listen to, i've thought for years. but, the version on saturday had a new intro routine about it getting a little bit better all the time, and it made a work of audio art quite a bit more listenable to my ear. i also liked the two little kids sitting on the cement parking thing right in front. in between dance numbers, they were picturesque indeed, but my snapshot in the dark didn't work. alas.
